I gave up smoking last year, which was good. But I piled on the weight, just under 2 stone in about 6 months, not so good!
The jibes were starting to free flow at work but more importantly I was feeling sluggish and heavy. I started jogging and kept it up a while, my chest felt better but the weight wasn’t changing much.
So I went onto the internet in search of guidance and advice. I found FATSO, no prizes for guessing why it caught my eye!
I signed up and soon developed a good rapport with my personal trainer Phil. I am on my second exercise programme now, I’ve lost almost all the weight that I put on and I feel and look better than ever and best of all I’m actually spending less time exercising than when I was out jogging by myself.

I have attended gyms on and off for years.
Since I have been training with Fatso, I don't know why I used to put myself through the whole gym experience. You know the sort of thing; muscle bound, lycra-clad posers - and that was just the instructors !
As a member of the 'over 40's club' with 'things' moving south, I never felt that the instructors were really interested in me or my progress.
My sister-in-law bought me 3 months worth of Fatso. I didn't believe it would work and didn't feel inclined to invest my own hard earned income. How wrong can you be? I have stuck rigidly to my programme and built up a genuine rapport with Jess. She constantly encourages (nags actually) me to push myself and seems to know when I am flagging. I have discovered walks around my village that I didn't even know existed, I catch up on the soaps while doing my circuit and skip in the kitchen while the family dinner is cooking. I have lost weight, toned up and can nearly fit into my entire wardrobe.
I admit to skiving over the Christmas bit and was in danger of slipping, but with Jess constantly on my case, I got back on track - thank goodness!
