At FATSO we truly believe that there is a form of exercise for everyone to enjoy.
The right intensity of exercise leaves you feeling invigorated, full of vitality and with the energy to live life to the full.
There is absolutely no need to buy expensive, big equipment. We believe in using every day items that are available to everyone – you would be amazed at the household objects that can contribute to your exercise programme!
Being fit and healthy affects every aspect of your life. Once you start to enjoy all of the benefits regular exercise brings, it will become a priority, essential for quality of life.
Our Personal Trainers take their own fitness regime very seriously and therefore spend considerable time studying a clients profile before tailoring a programme for their specific needs.
Both Jess and Phil are Level 3 advanced instructors on the Register of Exercise Professionals (www.exerciseregister.org).

Jess Brown |
Phil Brown |
Jess has been teaching exercise for over 10 years and has qualifications for personal training, gym and weights instruction, exercise to music (aerobics), step and children’s fitness. She has instructed in private gyms and studios, the YMCA as well as local village halls!
Jess moved from England to France 4 years ago, but splits her time across the channel. She now works locally, in France, personal training and teaching adults and children’s fitness classes. For more information see here.
On a personal note, she is married with 3 children under 9, so fully understands the potential problems of juggling an exercise plan with an already demanding life-style. She appreciates the stresses and strains of the full-time worker and strongly believes that a good exercise regime can enhance our daily lives giving us energy to fully enjoy our leisure time.
Phil was born and raised in London with a passion for sports and in turn fitness. He started playing football for teams aged 5 and still plays at a competitive level now, aged 35.
As a young adult he also boxed and trained in the martial arts for seven years, and instructed students in the last two of those years in a form of freestyle mixed martial arts.
Phil has a wealth of sporting experience and the extensive and varied training methods from each genre to draw on. This coupled with his CYQ Level 3 qualifications make for a well rounded instructor.
Whether you are just trying to lose a few pounds and tone up, or training for a marathon (Phil has run 2) he won’t allow you to give up.
Phil believes that you never stop learning if you never stop trying and if you never stop trying you continue to achieve!
Whatever your fitness goal, it will be realised if you commit to the Personal Trainer/Client relationship with anything like the enthusiasm of this natural born competitor.
